I was skeptical about this set. The title says "Large" spools, and as I've learned in the past, Large usually means tiny little spools that are good for barely one project. Not these!
These threads are beautiful, they sew great (no fraying or breaking), and the colors are fantastic! I would recommend them to anybody! They really are large spools... not the huge overlock spools, but nice, thick, healthy amounts of thread. Buy them!

These shipped right away and took an appropriate amount of time to arrive. They came packaged in four sturdy smaller boxes (taped together), with 12 spools in each box (basics, brights, pastels, and regals). This is convenient since I do not yet have a place to store them; it is perfect that the box they shipped in serves a dual purpose. Each spool is 1000m and 100% polyester. The color variety is very nice--vibrant and the quality of thread is sturdy. Although I have only embroidered three items so far (with a Brother 400se), I have had no concerns with thread breaking. Recommend you give it a try! Great price for the value.
